NATURE JEEP TOUR
On this half day Jeep tour, we will take you off the tourist trail and deep into the desert to see Wadi Rum’s natural untouched beauty. Climb into our 4x4 Jeep and enjoy stunning panoramic views on the way to our first stop: Chicken Rock. Next, cross from the Red to the White Desert (you will notice how suddenly the sand and rocks change colour) to Isdad it-Tag. This is one of the few places in the desert where you can find water! After exploring we will continue to a magical viewpoint over the vast Um Sabbath. Your expert Bedouin guide will drive you deep into the desert to a place known to very few and almost never visited by tourists, which a massive sandy slope perfect for sand boarding! The tour will continue through beautiful canyons and valleys before driving up a small mountain where you will enjoy one of the best natural views in Wadi Rum. Your guide will help you to take more stunning photos here, then he will take you to Eye Rock also known as Um al-Samn Rock Bridge.

Itinerary of half day Jeep tour
Tour start
If you're arriving from another place in Jordan, we will meet you at the parking lot of Wadi Rum Village. Here you can hop on our 4x4 Jeep and store your bags inside the car. If you already spent the night in our camp or in the cave, the tour will start from there. It is also possible to start your tour with a camel ride of 30 minutes or 1 hour.
Stops on the tour
During this nature-focused Jeep tour we will visit some of Wadi Rum’s most beautiful and remote places, starting with Chicken Rock and the natural water source at Isdad it-Tag. We will then stop at a small scenic hill with wide views over Um Sabbath before heading deeper into the desert to a hidden area where you can try sandboarding down a huge sandy slope.
Later, we will drive through peaceful canyons and valleys, stopping for photos and short walks, before reaching one of the best natural viewpoints in Wadi Rum. Our final stop is Eye Rock (Um al-Samn Rock Bridge), a natural hole in the rock that looks like an eye. At each place we will stop the Jeep so you can explore, climb, and take great photos.
End of the tour
If you started the tour in the afternoon we will go to a viewpoint to watch the amazing view during sunset. Your guide will prepare a campfire and some Bedouin tea, to enjoy during the sunset. From here will will drive you back to our camp, the cave or Wadi Rum Village.

Meeting place of the tour is the parking lot of Wadi Rum Village or the camp.

Tour extensions
The nature jeep tour is perfect in combination with one of our other tours or/and an overnight stay in the desert. You can choose to have the overnight stay before or after your tour.
You can extend your jeep tour with a 30 minutes or 1 hour camel ride.
